Campari, the classic Italian bitters, and film have a long standing history— but for the first time, Campari will be featured on the silver screen. They are celebrating by inviting 60 emerging influencers to watch the premier of “A Sip That Kills,” their short-film noir at the 60th annual New York Film Festival. After the premier, guests will attend a black and white noir after-party where they will make bittersweet memories with Campari.

Meet us at Gotham Hall on September 30th and acclimate your taste buds early to the classic, yet acquired, Campari palette.

60 INFLUENCERS FOR THE 60TH ANNUAL NYFF

As guests arrive, an orchestral version of "Bitter Sweet Symphony" by The Verve will softly play on the carpet.

SHORT-FILM SCRIPT: A SIP THAT KILLS

A lonely housewife waits up all evening for her husband to come home from work. She had prepared him a lovely dinner, but unfortunately, he was held up at work and didn’t make it home in time for dinner. His wife left the food on the table for him, although it would be cold when he arrived. She made her way up to the bedroom to start getting ready for bed.

From downstairs, she heard a door slam. In a nightgown with rollers in her hair, she called her husband’s name down the stairs. But there was no response. She called his name one more time, but again there was no answer. Only this time she heard a crash. *GASP* An intruder? She slowly began to creep down the stairs, being careful not to startle whoever might be in her home.

Once she made her way down the stairs, she tiptoed through her dining room, making sure to grab a knife off the table as she made her way to the kitchen. She was getting closer to the kitchen door when she saw a thick red liquid seep beneath the door. *Blood!* She immediately thought. Tears began to well in her her eyes and her hands began to tremble as she slowly lifted the knife with each step towards the door. She let out a scream as she forcefully opened the door ready to lunge at an intruder, but she opened the door only to find her husband on his hands and knees picking up the broken glass of a Campari bottle.

He screamed with terror and confusion as to why his wife was weilding a knife at him. All he wanted to do was pour himself a nice drink after a stressful day at work. After cleaning up the mess they both laughed about the encounter over a Campari Spritz.

Since announcing he had bought the booth in July, Bryant has documented the snaps on both his personal Instagram and the booth’s dedicated account.”

Harpers Bazar

The photo booth will capture our guests before, during, and after reactions as they sip Campari for the first time.

Goal: Images of the influencers will spark UGC trend on TikTok to see if Campari is as bitter as they say.
